About Our Tax Team
RBK is recruiting a strong performing Senior Tax Manager or Tax Manager for our Athlone office to deliver tax advisory and compliance services to an extensive portfolio of clients across diverse sectors. Our team of over 40 tax professionals and 4 tax partners provide expert compliance, consultancy and advisory services to corporate and personal clients domestically and internationally.
Key service areas include:
Corporate restructures
Mergers and acquisitions
Succession and retirement planning
Inbound and outbound investment and relocation
Private client investment, wealth management and tax planning
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Tax Partners, Associate Partners and Directors to develop services for a large and varied client portfolio.
Manage a portfolio of clients and lead the delivery of high‑quality tax advice and service.
Undertake specific consultancy assignments in all areas of tax.
Advise clients on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, cross‑border expansion, financing and tax audits.
Advise clients on succession planning.
Engage with Revenue on client matters, including Revenue audits.
Manage a tax team.
Assist with firm‑wide training and business development initiatives.
Core Skills / Attributes
Membership of the Irish Taxation Institute (CTA).
Ideally 2 years post‑qualification experience in a management/senior management role in a tax practice.
A broad range of experience and an ability to manage a high‑performing team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Broad exposure to tax consultancy assignments desirable but not essential.
Top 10 firm experience desirable but not essential.
Membership of ACA/ACCA desirable but not essential.
