Our client is seeking a Design Project Lead an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist who can think beyond the typical project scope. This role requires a professional with the ability to plan strategically, lead teams effectively, and manage client relationships at a senior level. Skills & Experience Architect or Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 10 years experience. Proven leadership in coordinating design and construction projects. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills. Experienced in client-facing and stakeholder management roles. Strong team leadership and programme management skills. Knowledge of Public Works and/or NEC4 Contracts essential. Experience with remediation or defective building projects beneficial. Agile, adaptable, and able to think on your feet. Innovative mindset able to think outside the box and navigate complex challenges. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and technical delivery of multiple concurrent projects. Provide strategic input on design direction, logistics, and programme planning. Manage project programmes and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation to a high standard. Serve as a key client interface, managing stakeholder relationships. Oversee team planning, resource allocation, and mentoring. Identify and address project risks, design issues, and delivery challenges. Ensure compliance with relevant contracts, standards, and regulations.
