Job Overview
A Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the daily operational management of facilities on-site.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all soft services, including security, landscaping, cleaning, pest control and waste management, maintain legislative accreditation and licensing.
* Monitor staffing levels and ensure staff are fully trained and motivated.
* Maintain regular communication with senior colleagues and consult on key decisions.
* Coordinate all soft services contractors working under the company's scope.
* Oversee completion of PMs and Work Orders in a safe and effective manner.
* Provide feedback on contractor performance and identify critical work activities for timely completion.
* Plan and execute statutory inspections within agreed timelines.
* Manage Service Levels and provide technical support when required.
* Ensure quality systems are in place and report on quality directives.
* Suggest improved ways of working to achieve goal of continuous improvement and best practices.
Requirements
* 3-5 years' experience in building services or contract coordination.
* Ability to develop teamwork through leadership and people management.
* Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
