Sous Chef Opportunity in Kildare
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our client's busy kitchen team in the Kildare area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to take on new challenges, support the Head Chef, and contribute to the success of our client's culinary operation.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and service delivery
* Lead and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef
* Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
* Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations
* Contribute to menu planning, stock control, ordering, and cost management initiatives
* Train and develop junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar environment
* Culinary qualification or relevant professional training
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent organisation and time management abilities
* A passion for high-quality food and attention to detail
* Familiarity with food safety and HACCP standards
