About this role: A global leader in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and medicines is looking for a Manufacturing Technician. Our colleagues serve people in over 160 countries. We have been operating in Ireland for years, serving the Irish market with a range of healthcare products including diagnostics, diabetes care, medical devices and nutritional products.
We are recruiting Manufacturing Technicians across areas such as Surface Mount Technology, E Beam, Packing and Puck. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical support relating to equipment utilized in manufacturing areas by repairing, maintaining, or modifying production equipment using technical expertise, precision tools, and test equipment.
* You will utilize data reports on equipment and systems to generate improvement initiatives, monitor machine output on the shift, and ensure all cells are running to cycle time to meet specific OEE targets.
A minimum level 6 in a technical related discipline is required. Electrical and mechanical skills are desired. Excellent knowledge of industrial machines and the mechanical industry is crucial for keeping the safety and security of production staff. Experience within a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment is also required. Technical and fault-finding skills, as well as Surface mount technology experience, are advantages.
