The Role
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Data Administrator to join our expanding team. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to get involved in the daily operation of creating financial and MIS reports.
Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience of data input.
* Experience in coding in Python.
* Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
* Proficiency in MS SQL, MySQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
* Possess strong and demonstrable organisational skills.
* To be methodical, with a strong attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Working knowledge and experience of data/statistical analysis tools.
* Willingness to learn new skills and systems.
* Ability to work as part of a team for daily deliverable.
* Adaptable and flexible; able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within a fast-paced business environment.
* Experience of working in an insurance or finance environment would be beneficial but not essential.
* Possess an energetic, proactive and an enthusiastic attitude.
* Disciplined, hardworking and resilient; able to perform effectively under pressure.
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Flexibility around working patterns is essential due to colleagues working in multiple time zones.
* Must be entitled to work in Ireland at the time of application, either holding European passport or employment visa.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Accurate and timely data entry into Petcover software packages.
* Use a variety of software programs for data extraction and production of weekly and monthly reports.
* Create and manage database reports and visualisations.
* Comparing, analysing and reporting on data quality and structure.
* Maintain database standards.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
* Creating automation for repeating database tasks.
* Sourcing information and creation of new data lists when required.
* To provide support and assistance to any member of the Petcover Team as required.
* To undergo further training as required.
* Participation in team meetings.
