Pro Source are recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading Irish design consultancy, for a role in their Dublin office.
Responsibilities As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Supporting project delivery in collaboration with Project Managers and senior engineers Liaising with clients under the direction of Project Managers to achieve successful project outcomes Preparing and reviewing preliminary design reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications Reviewing design work prepared by Graduate Engineers and providing technical guidance Producing designs using Auto CAD 2 D and Civil 3 D, with opportunities to develop skills in Auto CAD 3 D and BIM platforms such as Revit Assisting with the procurement and administration of Site Investigation, Building, and Civil Engineering contracts Contributing to tender documentation, tender assessments, and cost evaluations Supporting contract administration to ensure works align with design intent, programme, and budget Working closely with line management and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering outputs Requirements The ideal candidate will have: A Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) Typically 36 years relevant post-graduate experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Auto CAD 2 D and experience working with Civil 3 D An interest in developing skills in BIM (Autodesk Revit), Auto CAD 3 D, and other engineering software Working knowledge of Public Works Contract forms (PW-CF) and construction contract administration Familiarity with Microsoft Project and other planning or design tools A strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving Whats on Offer?
