Senior Pharmacist Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services, including the supply of medicines and related items, storage, supply, and dispensing of all items consistent with quality and value for money.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Be a registered pharmacist with a strong background in pharmacy practice.
* Have at least three years satisfactory post-registration hospital experience.
* Possess requisite knowledge and ability for proper discharge of duties.
Job Description:
The Senior Pharmacist will review medications for in- or out-patients prescribed treatment patients, checking every prescription order for accuracy and suitability, ensuring the safe and efficacious dispensing of each prescription as per the relevant SOP. They will ensure that a detailed patient medication history is obtained, as per local policy, and manage any potential drug-drug interactions, illicit drug use, and discuss relevant interactions with the relative Consultant/team as appropriate.

Additional Information:
The Senior Pharmacist will create, in consultation with medical and nursing staff and their designated line manager, protocols and guidelines designed to deliver optimal and economical patient care. They will ensure best practice and compliance with agreed clinical guidelines.
