Our client is one of the biggest construction contractors internationally, with its annual turnover increasing year on year.
The current opportunity is for an aspiring Environmental Manager to work on a new and exciting project, ensuring that sustainability/environmental measures are correctly met.
Their client book is strong and promises security, working nationally on some of the largest flagship projects through to 2024.
The order book/projects to tender can boast several projects within construction: Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Civil Engineering.
This is an opportunity to take the lead on sustainable procurement and sustainable development, whilst raising awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure sustainability/environmental measures are correctly met in new and exciting projects.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in a relevant science or environmental engineering subject (e.g. environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, etc)
* Masters qualified in a relevant specialism preferred, but not essential
* Chartered membership of relevant professional body
* A minimum of 10 years relevant post-graduate experience within a consultancy environment, specifically in the preparation and co-ordination of EIAR and non-statutory environmental reports
* Proven track record in technical report writing and ability to complete technical reports to required best practice standards
* Proven track record in project management of major environmental projects and development of bids
