Job Summary
The Senior Associate – Onboarding will be an integral part of the Waystone team, proactively managing and supporting clients and funds from a commercial and governance perspective.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management: Launch and manage client relationships, ensuring ongoing governance and representing Waystone at external events.
2. Operational Efficiency: Identify and manage relationships to ensure operational efficiency and financial profitability, interacting with internal teams and extended parties.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure current knowledge of regulations, specifically AIFMD, UCITS and MiFID, and implement processes to adhere to changing regulation.
4. Training and Development: Attend training sessions on relevant topics and ensure all teams are onboard with the changing environment.
5. Communication: Communicate relationship and governance items to Conducting Officers/Designated Persons and internal management, working towards resolutions and logging issues for training purposes.
6. Client Satisfaction: Manage a group of current clients, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory obligations.
7. Procedure Implementation: Identify procedures that need to be implemented or changed, leading the charge to get changes made and ensuring adherence to procedures.
8. Team Coordination: Coordinate internal teams to promote prompt and thorough responses to clients' requests.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, you must have the following qualifications:
* A strong academic background, including a Degree in Finance/Business/Economics or related field.
* Motivated with enhanced interpersonal skills and adept at building client relationships.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an investment funds environment.
* Knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS or MiFID.
* A client-facing background with presentation skills.
* Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with Salesforce is a bonus but not essential.
