About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong background in process operations and maintenance, with experience in operating and maintaining plant equipment. You will also have a good understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental legislation.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all plants
* Maintaining a high level of safety standards
* Carrying out day-to-day activities such as monitoring, assessing, testing, and operating plant equipment
* Operation and maintenance of the power plant in line with strict safety, environmental, commercial, and chemical requirements
* Supporting the shift operations team in day-to-day activities
* Maintaining a shift operations record and submitting reports as required
* Assisting in the development and implementation of procedures and systems for plant operations, testing and related activities
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in process operations and maintenance
* A strong background in control and instrumentation, electrical or mechanical fitting
* Relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) tickets and qualifications
* A good working knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation and standards
