Our client is currently recruiting for a lead carpet fitter for my client based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering good-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
1. Cut carpet materials to the required specifications using appropriate tools and techniques.
2. Install carpets/flooring in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines, ensuring a perfect fit.
3. Secure carpets using adhesives, tacks, or other methods as required.
4. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations.
5. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
6. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Requirements:
7. Good physical fitness as the role requires lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
8. Must have a full valid driver's license as role involves driving to various locations
9. Familiarity with different types of carpets and flooring materials is a plus
Salary:
·€40-€50k per annum based on experience
·Van and Tools provided
