Permanent Whole Time Post UCC wishes to appoint an experienced and dynamic individual to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The Chief Financial Officer will lead the strategic and operational management of UCC's financial resources, ensuring long-term sustainability and enabling the delivery of its academic mission. The appointee will be a dynamic and strategic leader with deep expertise in commercial operations, infrastructure financing, and stakeholder engagement. They are known for their resilience, political acumen, and ability to foster inclusive, high-performing cultures while navigating complex organisational environments. As a member of the University Leadership Team, the CFO will oversee a budget exceeding €500 million, guiding financial strategy, investment, risk, and resource deployment. The role involves close collaboration with the President, Governing Authority, ULT and external stakeholders to communicate financial performance, support infrastructure development, and drive commercial growth. This senior executive will also lead the Finance function and champion a major business transformation programme, playing a central role in shaping the financial vision of a leading institution and making a lasting impact.
