Part Qual Financial Accountant Division:dnata Catering Ireland Ltd Reporting to:Commercial Finance Manager Direct reports:N/A Primary Objectives This role will be responsible for the day to day commercial financial management of key airline customers of dnata Catering & Retail Ireland, in line with dnata financial policies. Working closely with the department key stakeholders, this role will develop key reports and will assist with the preparation of key financial statements and business profitability analysis for the senior leadership team. Elements of the role will require external / customer facing interaction. In addition, the role holder may be required to carry out such additional duties as may be reasonably requested by the business. Specific Accountabilities This role reports directly toCommercial Finance Manager Provide fact-based insight into the performance of key business customers Assist with budget & forecasting process Ensure end of month reporting deadlines are met in accordance with KPIs Assist in preparation of Profit and Loss statements for review bySnr Finance Manager Review of Balance Sheets to determine account balances with anomalies, and complete actions required addressing those anomalies. Provide weekly / monthly variance analysis and commentary on significant variances from budget and from previous months actual Prepare monthly financial Summary Reports for review in advance of sharing with Management and Customers Post month end accounting journals Perform monthly and ad hoc Reporting Attend and participate in audits Assist with implementing changes in the departmental function as dictated by the business needs. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Finance and Reconciliation processes, and work with the team to implement agreed changes. Essential Skills/Competencies/Experience/Qualifications CIMA, ACCA or ACA Part Qualified Minimum 2+ years business analysis Exceptional communication skills across full stakeholder spectrum. Strong technical accounting skills. Strong commercial awareness. Advanced Excel skills. Ability to multitask and manage your time efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills. Demonstrates strong organisational / time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders in a high volume, high value environment. Catering industry would be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills with an analytical and methodical approach.
