Field Engineer (Radio Frequency and ICT / IT Equipment)

We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our Network Services division, supporting our Service Management team in Dublin and the Leinster regions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in maintaining / maintenance / troubleshoot and fix experience of IT / ICT and Radio Frequency (RF) equipment used in Emergency Services vehicles and Control Centres
This field-based position requires frequent travel across Dublin and Leinster areas, so applicants must hold a full driving licence and willingness to travel.

What We're Looking For:
Experience of maintaining IT and RF (Radio Freqency / Communications) equipment in Emergency Services vehicles and Control Centres
Supporting the maintenance of MDTs (Mobile Data Terminal), TETRA systems, routers, and RF/IT connectors
Strong health and safety understanding
IP (Internet Protocol) and RF (Radio Frequency / Communications) skills desirable, plus experience with networks, PC's and wireless frequency equipment / productsKey Responsibilities:
Maintain equipment using contract manuals and Telent QEHS/ISO standards
Deliver preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/break/fix support, escalating recurring faults
Complete site documentation accurately and on time
Provide out-of-hours on-call support (1 week in 4 weeks on-call)
Monitor solutions to prevent outages and assist with root cause analysis
Manage workflow, escalate third-party requirements, and complete RMA processesSkills / Qualifications:
HND/HNC/ONC or equivalent, or relevant experience, level 6/7 check
Quick learner with strong problem-solving ability
Field experience in wireless/wired networks or Radio Frequency
Able to work at height and understanding of wireless/radio technologiesTelent - What We Offer:
