About The Role
The Role:
To meet an aggressive FTTH cable network construction program, we are searching for a methodical, practical thinker who promotes enthusiasm and drives tangible construction output from both internal and external teams. The ideal candidate is a team player.
We seek a highly motivated and experienced MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Delivery Manager to lead our fibre rollout across Ireland. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of fibre connectivity to MDUs, collaborating with multiple build partners. This role demands a proactive, results-driven individual with a solid understanding of fibre optic deployment, wayleave acquisition in Ireland, and construction management in telecommunications. Your role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
* Manage all aspects of MDU fibre deployment projects, from planning and survey to design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Build and manage relationships with build partners.
* Oversee wayleave acquisition processes.
* Ensure connectivity and technical delivery meet project standards.
* Manage stakeholder communication and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations.
About You
* 4-5 years of experience in project or delivery management within telecommunications, focusing on FTTH deployment.
* Proven track record managing MDU fibre build projects from start to finish.
* Experience coordinating multiple contractors and ensuring timely, quality delivery.
* Strong knowledge of wayleave processes and legal frameworks in Ireland.
* Understanding of fibre optic network architecture and installation techniques in MDU environments.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Ireland.
* Legal right to work in Ireland.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to telecom construction.
* Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
* Technical qualifications in telecommunications or civil engineering.
* Experience with large-scale fibre rollout programs.
