The role will play a critical part in ensuring the business maintains strong commercial governance while continuing to scale internationally.Working closely with the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for managing commercial risk, ensuring projects achieve target margins and building long-term strategic relationships with key clients and partners.The role offers a highly flexible working structure, with the majority of time working remotely while travelling periodically across Europe to meet clients, support negotiations and oversee key project milestones.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement the overall commercial strategy across the European project portfolioProvide strategic commercial advice to the executive leadership teamEnsure strong commercial governance, financial control and profitability across projectsSupport the business in scaling operations across new markets and regionsContract & Commercial ManagementLead the negotiation and execution of major client agreements and commercial contractsOversee contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligationsIdentify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycleEstablish and maintain best practice commercial processes and reporting structuresOversee project financial performance including cost forecasting, budgeting and reportingMonitor margin performance across projects and implement strategies to maximise profitabilityProvide regular commercial reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholdersEnsure robust cost control processes are in place across all projectsClient & Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners across EuropeAct as a senior commercial interface between the business and client organisationsSupport business development initiatives and assist with the negotiation of new project opportunitiesRepresent the business in high-level commercial discussions and negotiationsTeam & Operational SupportProvide leadership and guidance to project teams on commercial mattersWork collaboratively with technical, delivery and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomesSupport the development and mentoring of commercial staff as the business continues to growContribute to the ongoing improvement of internal systems, processes and commercial frameworksWhat We Are Looking ForExtensive experience in commercial management, quantity surveying or commercial leadership within construction or infrastructureProven experience managing large-scale construction projects and complex commercial agreementsStrong understanding of contract management, risk mitigation and financial reportingExperience working with international clients or projects across multiple jurisdictions is highly desirableStrong negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate effectively in a remote leadership role while managing international relationshipsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline (preferred)What’s On OfferThis role presents a rare opportunity to join a high-growth business delivering innovative solutions that are reshaping how projects are delivered across Europe.
