The Reception Supervisor’s key purpose is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the front desk. They should also maximize sales opportunities for all meetings, conferences, and events in the hotel. Reception interacts with all departments, ensuring everyone is aware of all daily events related to guest concerns.

The hotel boasts 103 large-sized bedrooms, a leisure club (Evolve Health & Fitness) with a fully equipped gym, an indoor heated swimming pool, and children’s pools.
Responsibilities:
1. Reception is the initial point of contact for guest queries; the supervisor and team are responsible for addressing queries within the team and passing on to relevant departments to ensure concerns are addressed promptly.
2. Ensure all room allocations are correct.
3. Verify all billing before presenting to guests.
4. Ensure daily cash-ups are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
5. Revise and implement Standard Operating Procedures as business needs evolve.
6. Train all Reception Team members on the latest SOPs.
7. Pass all wedding and event inquiries to the Sales Department immediately.
8. Understand all hotel services thoroughly and explain these offerings persuasively to potential guests, actively seeking upselling opportunities such as vouchers, promotions, or events.
9. Keep all departments informed of daily activities and updates.
10. Attend meetings as required and maintain clear communication across departments.
11. Maintain a proactive mindset and respond to sales opportunities promptly.
