My client, a leading supplier and distributor in Ireland, seek to hire a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Lead. This role will suit someone with experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. The successful candidate will cover all sites in Ireland. Responsibilities Strategic Safety Leadership - Support senior management and function heads in implementing departmental HSE action plans. Regulatory Compliance - Develop and maintain health and safety management systems in line with legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards. Audits & Compliance - Conduct audits, identify risks, and ensure corrective actions are taken. Risk Assessments - Support and review risk assessments, including chemical safety evaluations. Project Management - Lead or support HSE-related continuous improvement projects. Training & Awareness - Ensure HSE training programs are delivered and records maintained. Policies & Procedures - Develop safety manuals, procedures, and checklists. Continuous Improvement - Work with teams to enhance safety, sustainability, and environmental standards. Incident Investigation - Analyze accidents/incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures. Requirements A L8 in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) qualification, along with a NEBOSH Diploma (minimum requirement). At least three year's experience in HSE, advising on legislation and ISO standards. Experience with ISO 17020. Human Factors Engineering (HFE) assessments. Internal/Lead Auditor qualifications.
