Dublin - 6 month contract
We're looking for a sharp, experienced 2LOD professional to lead the independent validation programme for one of Ireland's most significant BCBS 239 / RDARR initiatives.
This is a high-visibility role operating at the heart of a fast-moving regulatory programme, with direct exposure to senior governance forums and supervisory engagement.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading end-to-end delivery of the 2LOD validation plan across data governance, data quality, data lineage and risk reporting
Managing stakeholders across Risk, Data and Technology, tracking validation outcomes, findings and remediation actions through to closure
Supporting regulatory engagement and ensuring all reporting, governance and documentation is audit-ready
Experience
Proven experience in a 2LOD, internal audit or independent validation function within a regulated banking environment
Strong working knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and ECB RDARR expectations
A track record of challenging senior stakeholders effectively and producing governance-quality papers suitable for regulators and senior management
