Job Title: Service Advisor
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our team at an Authorised Service Centre for Trucks. As part of one of Ireland's largest automotive retail groups, we have multiple dealerships in the Dublin area.
Main Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet all service customers, schedule vehicle service bookings by phone, email, or walk-in.
* Determine workshop availability for service, maintenance, and repair work.
* Maintain up-to-date progress on each customer vehicle undergoing service and/or repair.
* Advise and agree with customers on additional work or costs.
* Hand over serviced vehicles at agreed times, explaining the work completed and processing payment.
Liaising with Other Teams
You will liaise with management, reception, sales, warranty, and parts teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Skills and Experience:
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the motor industry.
* Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (fluent written and spoken English).
* A working knowledge of ADP/Kerridge (further training can be provided).
* Proven experience in providing excellent service to front-line customers.
* Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and manage time effectively, particularly at peak times.
* A valid driving licence for Ireland.
* Fully authorised to live and work in Ireland or hold a current visa/work permit.
