Residential Service:
We're building a talent pool for upcoming roles in a residential service supporting young people (under 18s) based in Carlow.

The Company:
Barrog Healthcare is a small, private health and social care provider based in Dublin and Cork with services nationwide providing residential care, community outreach and day packages nationwide to enable people who need support across the areas of disability, aftercare, transitional and mainstream social care.

These posts will be based Tullow, Co. Carlow

Probation
: 6 months

Vetting:
All applicants will be subject to reference checks, Garda Vetting and a request to provide security clearance from any country in which they resided for more than 6 months after their 16th birthday.

The Roles:
Eligibility: For all roles:

* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Must have a valid permission to work in Ireland
* Be of good health suitable for the needs of the role
* Have sufficient experience and understanding of the role of a social / health care worker or manager.

Residential Service Manager:
The Manager (Person in Charge) will be responsible for service delivery and will bring their experience and insights to this new service. You will have the opportunity to build the service from the start and lead your team of professionals.

Salary Scale: €55,000 to €61, 630. New appointees to any role are expected to start at the entry point of the scale.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

* A minimum of 5 years' experience working at least at a Social Care Grade in a children's residential centre
* Hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be )
* A QQI Level 6 qualification in leadership / management or be willing to complete same
* Have a proficient working knowledge of the Standards for Under 18s Service Registration and associated regulations and guidance.
* Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office) with a minimum of three years proven experience in a leadership role.
* Have proficient ICT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages - Excel and Word and be familiar with an email package e.g. Outlook.
* Full Clean Driver's Licence

Residential Deputy Service Manager:
The Deputy Service Manager will support the Residential Manager and will provide support and direction to our team and our clients. This is a great role for a social or healthcare professional ready to progress their career in a new team.

Salary Scale: €47,000 to €54, 496. New appointees to any role are expected to start at the entry point of the scale.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

* Hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be )
* A minimum of 3 years' experience working at least at a Social Care Grade in a residential centre or in the area of health and social care.
* Have a proficient working knowledge of the Standards for Under 18s Service Registration and associated regulations and guidance.
* A QQI Level 6 qualification in leadership / management or be willing to complete same
* A minimum of 1 years' supervisory experience (seen as an advantage)
* Have proficient ICT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages - Excel
* and Word and be familiar with an email package e.g. Outlook.
* Full Clean Driver's Licence

Social Care Workers & Support Workers:
Our Social Care Workers and Support Workers will provide support for our clients in achieving their goals and ambitions, whether that is through education, employment, building independent living skills, engaging with activities within the community, learning new skills, playing sports and building on meaningful relationships in their lives. We believe in a real person-centred approach to support and in ensuring that each client's support plan is made with their inclusion and towards their goals.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

Social Care Workers:

* Social Care Qualification at QQI Full Level 7 or equivalent
* CORU Registration is essential
* Experience in social / health care is required
* Full Irish or EU drivers licence will be beneficial

Salary Scale: €15.00 to €20.90 dependent on experience and driving licence. New appointees to any role are expected to start at the entry point of the scale.

Support Workers:

* Social or Healthcare Care Qualification at QQI Full Level 5
* Experience in social / health care is required
* Full Irish or EU drivers licence will be beneficial

Salary Scale: €14.00 to €18.62 dependent on experience and driving licence. New appointees to any role are expected to start at the entry point of the scale.
