Role Overview I'm looking for experienced cloud database automation engineers to drive PostgreSQL and Distributed SQL database automation at scale in AWS and Azure environments. This hands-on technical role involves deploying and migrating databases, developing automation solutions, and ensuring compliance with operational and security standards. Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams to optimize cloud database usage.
Skills Required
* Proficiency in AWS and Azure
* Experience with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Vault, GitHub, Artifactory, and CloudWatch.
* Skilled in scripting languages
* Familiarity with pipeline automation tools
* Understanding of DevOps concepts, Infrastructure as Code, and relational/distributed databases.
Responsibilities
* Automate deployment and migration processes for PostgreSQL and Distributed SQL databases in AWS and Azure.
* Modernize and develop new automation capabilities for cloud data services.
* Collaborate with globally distributed teams to ensure high standards and efficient database solutions.
* Document processes and create user-facing materials.
