This is a prime chance for an experienced professional to take on the role of Data Centre Managing Quantity Surveyor. As part of a reputable business, you will provide Commercial and Contractual expertise to new and existing projects.
The position involves procuring and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and other selected suppliers or stakeholders, preparing tenders to ensure clients receive fair, competitive, and accurate bids from contractors. You will lead project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans, attend client meetings, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with internal processes and construction ERP systems.
* Procure and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and other chosen suppliers/stakeholders.
* Prepare Tenders to guarantee clients receive fair, competitive, and accurate bids from contractors.
* Lead the preparation and management of Project budgets, Forecasts, and Cost plans.
* Attend and represent DPI in client meetings, maintaining strong professional relationships.
* Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and Construction ERP systems, maintaining accurate project documentation and financial records, ensuring accuracy in data.
* Lead and uphold Health and Safety standards for employees and third parties, ensuring compliance with company requirements.
* Monitor Financial Performance, Forecast Profitability, and Manage Project Risks and Opportunities, providing monthly and ad-hoc financial reports, evaluating Negotiate and Mitigate Commercial and Contractual Risks.
* Manage, Lead, and Develop a Commercial Team with the support of the Commercial Manager/MQS and SQS, regularly reviewing performance through appraisals and one-to-one sessions with direct reports.
