The Enterprise Field Technician will have full responsibility to deliver customer projects on behalf of the Account Manager working in a time sensitive and deadline driven environment.
Key Tasks and responsibilities:
* Providing Field Support for Client network Incidents and Troubleshooting with the assistance of Client Noc Teams.
* Attending Customer sites within SLA to Carry out new CPE installations.
* Excellent Communications skills ,Time management and creation of any necessary site documentation as requested .
* Configuring CPE equipment before deploying on to customer sites .
* Conducting Risk assessments and preventive maintenance when requested.
* Configure CPE equipment such as Cisco routers & switches, HP Aruba and Adva devices with configs provided by the Client NOC teams.
* Installation of CPE devices on customer sites including Wifi access points and 4g devices as requested .
* Testing and troubleshoot any issues on site with various types of leased lines when requested .
* Ability to install and test Various types of cabling copper and fibre on customer sites .
* Fibre Installation and network patching on customer sites and data Centres when required.
* Respond to and service affecting faults on client’s network within defined SLA .
* Participate on a 24x7 on call rota.
Essential Experience and Competencies:
* Full clean driving licence
* 5+ years of telecom experience in utility services field experience is essential.
* Proficiency with Ethernet switches, routers, and OTA devices.
* Strong leadership skills in setting technical standards and resolving issues.
* Experience with LAN/WAN environments on customer sites.
