Job Description
As a Mortgage Advisor, you will play a key role in guiding members through their mortgage journey, ensuring they receive clear, personalised advice at every stage of the process.
This position combines mortgage advisory responsibilities with elements of credit assessment, ensuring members receive a professional and supportive experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with members to discuss mortgage needs, affordability, and required documentation.
* Provide tailored advice on mortgage products, terms, and repayment options.
* Assess mortgage applications, reviewing income, financial information, and supporting documents to make informed recommendations.
* Ensure all activities align with lending policies, industry regulations, and risk guidelines.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria, and Irish regulatory requirements.
* Experience in a mortgage advisory or broader lending role.
* Experience underwriting unsecured loans is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Qualifications
* QFA or APA qualification required.
* Previous experience in mortgage lending or financial advisory roles.
