Role Description

• Day to day management on site, reporting to the Project Manager

• Attend all onsite meetings

• Implement Health & Safety procedures

• Contribute to the delivery of the project on time and within budget

• Manage sub-contractors in an effective manner, ensuring any snags are revisited and completed to a high standard

• Manage all finishes

• Ensure handover to the client is achieved in a timely fashion

Skill Requirements

• Extensive experience on commercial and residential projects

• Experience in the management of sub-contractors

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to motivate and manage

• Ability to present reports defining projects progress, problems and solutions

• 6-8 years' relevant experience working directly for a medium-large main contractor as a finishing foreman on commercial projects

• Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification
