Clár I.C.H. a Company Limited by Guarantee is a progressive and dynamic Social Enterprise based in Claremorris, Co. Mayo. The company is an Approved Housing Body providing Social Housing for those in need. Together with Clár I.R.D. CLG. and Clár Community Projects, Clár I.C.H. delivers a range of support services through its Community Services Programme to the community of Claremorris and regionally in Mayo, Galway and Roscommon. These services include upgrading homes through the Warmer Homes Scheme, energy retrofitting through The SEAI Communities Energy Programme (CEG), provision of enterprise space, management of Digispace Claremorris Digital Hub and supporting other community organisations through sponsorship of the Community Employment scheme.

MANAGER
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with an existing team and the Board of Directors to build on the achievements of Clár I.C.H. over the last 30 years. This role involves driving the continued development of its housing stock, expanding climate adaptation services, supporting enterprise development, and oversee all management and operations of Clár I.C.H CLG, Clár I.R.D CLG and Clár Community Programme LTD.
Ideal candidates will:
1. Understand the dynamics of Community/Regional Development
2. Have a track record of successful project development and management
3. Have relevant work experience in/or that can be transferred to a Social Enterprise
4. Deliver the Clár I.C.H. CLG. Community Service Programme services
5. Be excellent at developing and maintaining working relationships internally and externally
6. Have experience in human resource management, financial management, report writing and governance within the charity sector, with experience in developing and implementing company's policies and procedures
7. Demonstrate strategic thinking with strong business insight and financial acumen
8. Have a proven ability to generate levels of income to enable the organisation to sustain and meet its capital and operational expenditure
9. Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills with digital marketing skills an advantage
10. Have experience or knowledge of participation in EU projects would be an advantage
The position is part funded by The Pobal Community Services Programme (CSP) from the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD)
Location: Clar I.C.H. Clg. Office, Ballyhaunis Road, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
Hours of work: This is a full-time position and may include evenings.
