Early Years Educator Job Opportunity
This is a challenging yet rewarding role for an Early Years Educator to join our early education team. We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual who can provide high-quality care and education to preschool children in a holistic setting.
* We are looking for someone who can support the provision of early education, promoting the overall development of children, including their emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages and be willing to work as part of a team.
* Responsibilities include conducting observations, performing tasks such as aiding toileting, sterilizing, and engaging in play, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
* We require the successful candidate to have a strong understanding of child protection procedures and to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* FETAC Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of 1 year's work experience in childcare, preferably with different age groups (preschool and afterschool).
* An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A sense of humour and a warm, responsive approach to caring for children.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
* First Aid certification.
* Garda Vetting clearance.
* Manual Handling training.
* Children First awareness.
