About The Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee all food and beverage outlets at the Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa. This includes leadership of Café du Parc, The Tan Yard, La Grand Pey, Blackthorn & Piano Bar.
This is a key leadership role focused on service excellence, operational efficiency, and team development, ideal for someone with a proven background in high-volume, multi-outlet hotel environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day F&B operations across:
o Café du Parc: a vibrant, all-day café-bar known for funky brunches, signature cocktails, and champagne experiences
o The Tan Yard: a casual fine-dining restaurant offering farm-to-fork Irish cuisine and sustainable menus
o La Grand Pey, Blackthorn & Piano Bar: delivering breakfast, banqueting, and functions to a high standard
* Manage and mentor F&B teams across outlets, including floor supervisors, restaurant staff, and bartenders
* Collaborate with kitchen and events team to ensure seamless guest experiences across all dining occasions
* Maintain cost controls, staffing levels, and performance KPIs while exceeding guest satisfaction benchmarks
* Drive sustainability initiatives, including partnerships with Killarney Urban Farm and green operational practices
* Uphold high standards in HACCP, health and safety, hygiene, and staff training
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous professional development within the F&B department
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an F&B leadership role (ideally within a 4-star hotel)
* Proven success managing multiple F&B outlets or large-scale hotel restaurant operations
* Excellent communication, team leadership, and guest-service skills
* Financial acumen: forecasting, budgeting, labour planning, and stock control
* Passion for hospitality, sustainability, and guest experience
* Flexible, organised, and calm under pressure
