Role Summary

The Senior Market Manager’s primary responsibility is to onboard, develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of hotel and property products for Expedia’s global customer base within an assigned territory. You will collaborate with Expedia Groups property partners to maximize production by leveraging Expedia Group’s data insights, marketing, distribution and revenue management toolset. This role is core to the Market Management team, ensuring our brands’ global customers find the most suitable properties and our hotel partners reach Expedia Group’s broad traveler demand effectively year-round.


What You’ll Do

* Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by providing relevant data insights and high-quality consulting services to hotel partners (revenue management advice, marketing opportunities).
* Build the local hotel partner portfolio by introducing prospective partners to Expedia’s marketplace and facilitate onboarding.
* Ensure partner hotels\' content, rates and availability are optimized on Expedia sites to maximize customer conversion.
* Secure additional lodging rates and availability information during high-demand periods to satisfy customers\’ needs.
* Secure seasonal deals and promotions within management guidelines to support merchandising and marketing efforts.
* Promote and develop high engagement with Expedia\'s full suite of tools and services (market insights, revenue management tools, marketing opportunities, self-service tools).
* Represent Expedia in the local market, build the company profile with key local influencers, and provide expertise to the local industry.
* Provide input to senior management on scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies and coach colleagues on standard methodologies.
* Other reasonable duties as assigned.


Who You Are

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
* 4-6 years’ experience.
* Approximately 20-30% travel for market visits.
* Ability to collaborate via video and social technologies to optimize travel, communication and collaboration.
