With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of 4,000 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.We now have an exciting opportunity for a Group Tax Manager to join us.As a Group Tax Manager with us, you'll be at the heart of our international operations, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions and contributing to projects that drive our business forward. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, you'll collaborate with local finance teams and trusted external advisors to deliver excellence in tax compliance and reporting. This role will be based in PM Group's Cork office, offering a hybrid working model.ResponsibilitiesManage tax compliance filings and payments across the Group, with the assistance of local finance teams and 3rd party advisors.Support with tax authority correspondence, enquiries and audits across various tax heads and jurisdictions.Preparation of annual corporation tax returns and preliminary tax instalment payments for Irish companies in the Group.Coordinate with external service providers and internal finance teams to co-ordinate timely and accurate preparation and review of corporate tax returns for other jurisdictions. Preparation of reconciliations of corporate tax returns filed to tax provisions.Assist with preparing the Group's tax provision and reporting obligations on a quarterly basis. Preparation of local statutory accounting tax disclosures annually.Analysis and preparation of VAT and VIES filings for the Irish VAT Group and other territories as required and arranging payments where relevant.Coordinating with European service providers to ensure compliance with VAT obligations for other European jurisdictions.Preparation and submission of European VAT Refund (EVR) claims and follow up correspondence in relation to these.Support tax compliance for the Group's Global Mobility policies and Employee Share Schemes.Reconcile monthly and quarterly Irish Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) accounts and preparation and submission of returns to Revenue.Coordinating relevant forms and certificates to meet global withholding tax requirements for the business.Assisting with the Group's transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements.Supporting with the Group's transition to a cloud-based ERP system from a tax perspective.Assisting with the implementation of E-Invoicing initiatives as the global requirements increase.Global tax research and analysis as required to support the wider global teams.Other ad-hoc tasks and project related work as required.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (or equivalent experience).Professional accounting/tax qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA, CTC, TMITI).5+ years of experience in a tax compliance role, preferably in practice or a multinational environment.Strong knowledge of Irish tax laws and regulations, with exposure to international tax principles and a keen interest in learning about different taxing regimes globally.Analytical and numerate with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityAbility to multi-task and adapt to changing environments to ensure deadlines are met.Experience with tax software and systems (e.g., Alphatax) and Microsoft products is desirable.Highly driven and self-motivated, ability to work both within a team and independently.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Why PM Group?Our benefits include:Flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid working policyAn employee-owned share scheme.
