The objective of the role is to work within the company guidelines and provide the client's internal and external customers with supportive, efficient, and professional services at all times.
Key Responsibilities of The Maintenance Assistant: Daily inspection of the premises, addressing and reporting any issues identified.
Carrying out first-time maintenance and assisting special contractors when required.
To liaise, provide access to, and monitor all contractors and tradespersons, highlighting any area of concern to the managers.
Daily on-site management of all contractors/vendors to ensure standards are maintained at the required level.
Manage reactive requests submitted through the maintenance log.
Enter new items into repairs/maintenance log.
Space management and move coordination for events and functions Assist with new admissions and room transfer: Room turnaround tasks may include packing, painting, deep cleaning tasks like upholstery cleaning, taking down curtains, repairs and maintenance checks.
Above all, ensuring the room meets check-in standards.
PAT Testing.

Be recognised as the local facilities ambassador and point of contact for queries.
Keep an up-to-date log of events/incidents, repairs, and maintenance.
Interior and exterior painting.
Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with company health safety procedures and current legislation.
Support and drive projects and initiatives that add value to the client's business Provide regular and accurate reporting of activities such as performance, accruals, audit scores, PPM completion rates, etc.
Promote a positive environment emphasizing flexibility understanding with superior customer service.
Oversee delivery of vendor orders, ensuring all supplies and stock items are correct, match the order details, and are carefully placed into the appropriate storeroom in an organised and safe manner.
Be flexible to work across other homes in the Virtue group as required.
Complete other duties as directed by the manager.
Essential: Good understanding of building services with ability to work with specialised suppliers A minimum of 2 years as a facilities assistant or maintenance assistant Desirable: Painting and decorating experience
