Hobson Prior is seeking an Advanced Bioprocessing Scientist to join a dynamic team in the life sciences industry. In this role, you will focus on manufacturing and improving processes for producing sterile gene therapy products while adhering to high-quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities
* Perform manufacturing tasks to produce sterile gene therapy products following established guidelines.
* Train and mentor team members to ensure skill development and compliance with training plans.
* Ensure all work complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), data integrity, and documentation standards.
* Complete assigned documentation, such as reports and corrective actions, accurately and on time.
* Identify and report any issues, safety risks, or areas for improvement, and assist in resolving them.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including operating in cleanrooms and performing sanitization tasks.
* Monitor manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Collaborate with the team to enhance processes and improve efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Key Skills and Requirements
* A degree in Science or Engineering.
* Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in biologics or aseptic production.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and related compliance standards.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain professionalism under pressure.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
