A challenging opportunity exists for a Tailings and Geotechnical Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead and contribute to the design, assessment, and operation of mine waste facilities, including tailings storage facilities, water impoundments, waste rock dumps, and integrated facilities. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver consulting services for mine waste projects.
* Design and inspection of mine waste storage facilities.
* Closure design support.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have a degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering with extensive experience in technical leadership roles within the mining industry. Strong knowledge of national and international design guidelines is required along with excellent communication skills. Experience working as part of a diverse team is essential.
