As a result our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Manager with MEP experience to join our busy Cost Management team in our Dublin office, supporting our clients deliver projects and programmes across Ireland.Preparing Mechanical/Electrical cost estimates for all asset classes, and at all levels of design, related to real estate projects.Identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line managerProcess improvement – Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes referring ides to the appropriate line managerPreparing Construction Cost Estimate reports at all stages of designManaging estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost planEnsuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectivelyParticipating in Value engineering, LEED analysis and Life Cycle costingTaking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stagesLeading cost estimate production, ensuring that the team delivers on their accountabilitiesFinancial management – Utilizing the tools provided keep track of the ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commissionEnsuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectivelyEnsuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientPreparation / Quantification of Cost Plan Reports including measurement of detailed quantities and unit pricingQualificationsQualificationsMore than 5 years of MEP Estimating experienceExperience in real estate MEP cost management including public and private sector projects.A recognized university degree in Construction or a related fieldMembership in a relevant professional organizations (i.e. RICS/SCSI).Certification or designation from a professional organization is an asset (i.e. MRICS, PQS, CCP)Right to work in IrelandAdditional InformationWhat we offer you:Full timeHybrid workingCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefitsPension25 days Annual leave (23 days + 2 company days)Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
