We are a growing tech recruitment partner working with financial services firms across the UK and Ireland. We help engineering leaders hire faster and smarter with a mix of research-driven sourcing and great candidate experience.
The Role
As a Junior Recruitment Associate, you'll learn the ropes of tech hiring while supporting experienced consultants. You'll liaise with clients about their software needs, speak with developers about roles and career goals, and research trends in the hiring market to keep our advice sharp.
What you'll do
* Liaise with clients to capture role requirements (stack, team structure, must-haves/nice-to-haves, interview process, timelines).
* Engage developers (phone, video, email, LinkedIn) to discuss roles, assess fit, and guide them through interviews and offers.
* Research hiring trends (salaries, skills demand, remote vs hybrid norms, visa topics) and turn insights into short briefs for clients and content.
* Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, job boards, referrals, and talent pools; maintain clean pipelines in our ATS/CRM.
* Write high-converting adverts and outreach messages that reflect each client's EVP and get replies.
* Coordinate processes: schedule interviews, prep/debrief candidates, gather feedback, and keep everyone updated.
* Support business development by mapping target companies, identifying decision-makers, and crafting intro notes.
* Improve our playbooks—document what works, measure results, and suggest tweaks to make us faster and better.
You'll thrive if you have
* Strong communication skills and comfortable speaking with both engineers and hiring managers.
* Curiosity about software (you don't need to code, but you enjoy learning stacks and product domains).
* Organised, detail-driven, and able to juggle multiple roles without dropping balls.
* Tenacious, positive, and commercially minded—motivated by outcomes and impact.
* Experience in customer service, sales, or campus roles (societies/leadership) is a plus.
Nice to have (not required)
* Exposure to tech recruitment, agency or in-house.
* Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Workable/Greenhouse/Lever, or similar ATS/CRM tools.
* Basic understanding of software terms (e.g., backend vs frontend, cloud, CI/CD).
What we offer
* Competitive base + performance bonus/commission.
* Hybrid work (e.g., 2–3 days in our Dublin office).
* Training and mentoring with a clear path to Recruitment Consultant.
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays
* Real ownership early—client exposure from week one.
