Job Title: Head of Finance – IPO Readiness

Our Client
Our client is a SaaS company who are strongly considering an IPO within the next 2 years. They are well positioned to achieve this goal but require a new Head of Finance to come and work closely with the senior leadership team in a replacement role.

From speaking with our client, prior SaaS experience is essential given the scope of the role. We believe that a candidate with the following would be advantageous:
* Qualified accountant who trained in a Big 4/Top 6 firm
* Industry experience or working in the FAAS of a large firm
* Strong grounding in financial reporting
* Commercial awareness
* Prior experience of reporting to the Board or VC/PE Firm
* Proven track record in the delivery of operational excellence
* Ability to business partner with key internal and external stakeholders.
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the CFO, the role offers will be incredibly to include:
* Reporting - Preparation of quarterly management accounts, B/S recs, year-end accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparation of audited financial statements
* Financial modelling, monthly projections and cashflow planning
* Working with the commercial team to set realistic/tangible budgets and forecasts coupled investigating variances
* Compliance - Ensuring financial compliance across various structures
* Finance Operations - Hands-on involvement in IPO Readiness structuring
* Banking - quarterly banking compliance certificate completions, managing senior debt function
* Tax planning, liaising with tax advisors
* Ad hoc project work at the request of the PE firm
