M Luxury Recruitment is currently searching for an Executive Head Chef for a luxury Hotel located in Co. Galway area This hotel has several Dining Outlets, IRD, but no banqueting. We are ideally looking for a head or sous chef with a hotel background. This property has its own vegetable and herb gardens. Responsibilities Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities Run a sustainable kitchen with minimum waste. Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs Supervise kitchen staffs activities Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs Recruit and manage kitchen staff Rectify arising problems or complaints Perform administrative duties Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Keep time and payroll records Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Requirements Proven working experience as a head chef or Exec Sous in a four or five-star hotel.
