Senior Firmware Engineer Cork, Ireland Role Overview: Join AEs R&D team in Little Island, Cork, to lead embedded software development for advanced medical products. This senior role involves low-level programming, hardware-software integration, and technical leadership, with a focus on innovation, quality, and customer impact. Key Responsibilities: Architect and develop firmware compliant with IEC 62304. Troubleshoot and optimize embedded systems. Lead product success through design and field performance improvements. Mentor junior engineers and drive process efficiency. Collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams. Support technology readiness and customer engagement. Required Skills: Strong C programming and embedded systems experience. Proven product development and technical leadership. Test-driven development and documentation expertise.
