Associate Finance Manager Contract: 15 Month Contract Hybrid: On Average 2 Days Per Week On-Site Location: Anngrove, Carrigtwohill, Cork Position Summary: The Associate Manager Finance is responsible for managing Additive and GQO R&D Financials and supporting Additive business units and strategy information to excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely provision of finance support to the Additive R&D teams, local team leaders and the Director Finance - Additive to allow for effective strategic planning and control of the business.
Key Areas of Responsibility: Work closely with the Director Finance - Additive and the R&D teams to manage the financial requirements for Additive R&D Manage the financials relating to all GQO R&D budgets, forecasts and actuals including working with budget owners and GQO finance to optimize reporting Support and review business cases for new products and technologies Support information requirements in relation to Additive Wave III/IV strategy Engage with Additive teams to review business cases and ensure alignment and focus on commercial outcomes Responsible for all information and presentations on incremental revenues and related requirements Provide financial information as required for business unit reviews or other presentations Manage all monthly and quarterly financial reports including P&Ls, Headcount and Additive Sales Quarterly reporting to Additive SLT on future availability (3yrs+) of tax credits and government grants available for investment by Additive Develop and deliver ongoing structured financial acumen training to the Additive R&D teams ensuring improvement in their commercial awareness and ability Ensure that adequate internal financial controls exist and all Compliance activities are supported Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross divisional process improvement initiatives Drive process changes in the Finance area to ensure the provision of information to key business owners is more efficient Partner with the local Management Accounting team All other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge Skills: A Degree in accounting or relevant 3rd level qualification is required Hold a recognized professional accounting qualification 6+ years' experience in a finance position supporting a high-performing business with experience in a manufacturing environment preferable Strong stakeholder management and relationship building Be customer focused and act as a liaison between Finance and R&D Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as will a high level of flexibility with a high-level commitment to success Be commercially aware and enjoy interacting with cross functional teams across the organisation High level of PC skills required.
