The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the reception area and supporting clinical staff.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.Answer telephone calls, taking messages, and booking appointments.Register new patients and update patient records.Manage appointment scheduling and ensure efficient use of time for doctors and patients.Handle patient queries and provide information about services and procedures.Always maintain confidentiality of patient information.Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing and claiming.Ensure the reception and waiting room is tidy and well organized.Required SkillsPrevious experience in a reception or administrative role (preferably in a medical setting)Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Good IT skills and experience with medical software systems (training can be provided).Excellent time management and organisational skills.A friendly and compassionate attitude with a patient focussed approach.Ability to work under pressure and handle a busy environment.Pay range- circa €16ph
