We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers for immediate full-time and part-time agency shifts in Roscommon and nearby areas.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with diverse needs
Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in all aspects of daily life
Implement person-centred care plans in line with HIQA standards and organisational policies
Manage challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism
Maintain accurate records and contribute to team communication
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
Relevant QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar care environment
Valid CPR and Patient Moving & Handling certificates (preferred)
Full clean driving licence (required)
Full right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
Garda vetting will be conducted upon application
Required Skills
Previous experience working in residential, nursing home, or hospital settings
Previous experience supporting adults or children with intellectual and physical disabilities in a compassionate, person-centred environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A compassionate and person-centred approach to care
Demonstrated ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
A compassionate, person-centred, and professional approach to care
Preferred Skills
