Teliporter is hiring a retail store manager for a pop-up shop. You’ll work on behalf of entertainment, sports, music, and recording artist brands, launching pop-up retail activations to sell official fan merchandise. We are interested in candidates with experience in retail management, event marketing, visual merchandising, retail sales, or team leadership.
Position: Retail Manager, Store Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor
Purpose: To manage the successful operation of a popup shop, overseeing customer experience, retail sales, visual merchandising, shop floor management, marketing, sales promotions, team leadership, administration, and reporting activities.
Location: St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, City Centre
Role Type: Temporary Contract, FTC
Start Date: 01/06/2025
Duration: 4 months
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Gross Rate: €20.00/hour
Overview: You will lead on-site retail operations, managing daily activities to deliver excellent customer service. Your responsibilities include driving performance, operational excellence, and team effectiveness, with involvement in pre-event setup and post-event breakdown.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the operation of a temporary retail site, ensuring outstanding service and fan experience
* Execute product launches, events, POS, and marketing activities
* Drive sales and profitability by managing KPIs like footfall, conversion, and AOV
* Manage visual merchandising, pricing, and promotions
* Optimize store operations and stock management
* Lead and develop the team, including recruitment and performance management
* Coordinate with contractors and internal teams for project execution
* Produce staff rotas and monitor attendance and performance
* Lead team communications and post-trade reviews
* Complete sales, attendance, payroll, and performance reports
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, HR, finance, and data protection policies
* Manage store security and minimize stock loss
* Work flexibly, including weekends and event days
* Participate in store setup and breakdown during the event cycle
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have retail management, visual merchandising, sales, or team leadership experience in fast-paced or event environments. An interest in media, entertainment, sports, or music is a plus.
