Our client, a privately owned Irish company based in Longford, is seeking to recruit a Production Manager. You will play a critical role in overseeing all molding operations, establishing standards of performance, measuring results, analyzing workflow, and troubleshooting problems.

Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in an Injection Molding Medical Device manufacturing facility and general manufacturing operations in a similar high-volume production role.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to analyze performance data and present actionable insights. Capable of collaborating with all levels of the business.
* A results-driven approach with problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
* BSc in Engineering or a related technical discipline; a third-level qualification is desirable but experience and passion are most important. Working knowledge of IQMS is an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Experience with IQMS is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Adhere to and enforce all safety procedures and policies. Maintain a safe and clean environment.
* Ensure customer requirements are met.
* Review and approve labor management.
* Understand all products and quality specifications of active products.
* Establish and monitor plant performance by creating goals and reviewing tracking metrics.
* Develop and communicate plans to reduce scrap.
* Ensure duties are defined, communicated, and met by direct reports.
* Review and approve all performance evaluations.
* Review and investigate all accident reports.
* Verify compliance with all PM Management activities through our Maximo system.
* Track, monitor, and verify the accuracy of RM, WIP, and FG inventories.
* Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees by upholding policies and procedures.
* Implement and uphold the Quality System ISO 13485, ensuring GMP compliance, product quality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards such as ISO 14001.
* Drive technical and operational enhancements.
* Manage the performance of the production facility, including resourcing, manpower, and efficiency.
* Monitor production data (e.g., downtime, waste, non-conformances) and implement solutions.
* Foster a culture of safety and innovation, ensuring the facility is audit-ready daily.
* Liaise with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
* Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
* Lead and performance manage direct reports. Participate proactively in the Performance Management process to ensure team objectives are met.
