Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Cork for a Senior Estimator.
The Senior Estimator will lead the preparation of detailed and competitive cost estimates, analyze project requirements, and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
The role involves coordinating with project teams, sourcing materials, and ensuring bids align with company objectives.
The Senior Estimator will also review plans and design documentation to provide accurate project costing and collaborate with stakeholders to refine and finalize estimates.
Qualifications
Proficiency in estimation software, cost modeling, and budgeting tools
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with suppliers and clients
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in the electrical contracting field
Ability to interpret technical and design drawings accurately
Experience in managing tenders and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Relevant engineering, construction management, or quantity surveying qualifications or professional certifications
Previous experience in the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Commercial sectors is an advantage
Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
