Senior Infrastructure Specialist

In the thriving Life Sciences Sector in Ireland, a major expansion project for a global Pharmaceutical organisation has created an exciting opportunity. This project requires a Senior Infrastructure Specialist to design and specify clean utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Designs and specifies clean utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and/or controls.
2. Manages small-to-mid-sized projects related to utilities & HVAC equipment services.
3. Conducts troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment issues and associated systems.
4. Assists in the design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.
5. Supports QA Validation department by preparing design documents and assists in protocol execution.
6. Assists in investigations of utility systems, and control system anomalies as well as safety incidents.
7. Implements corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.

8. Interpret P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs.
9. May supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors.
10. Maintains a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.

Requirements:
1. Requires Level 8 or higher in Mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in engineering preferred.
2. Direct experience with Utilities systems (clean / grey) & HVAC is preferred.
