Overview
The Senior L&H Performance & Planning Analyst will design and coordinate Landing and Planning processes, analyze and monitor the performance of the L&H business, and manage business forecasts. This role combines IFRS, Solvency II and actuarial expertise with analytical tasks and requires coordination with teams worldwide. The analyst connects financial KPIs with the characteristics and development of the L&H portfolio.

As the Senior L&H Performance & Planning Analyst, you will provide insights into the L&H reinsurance portfolio during annual reporting cycles, analyze Actuals vs. Operating/Strategic Plan targets, update annual forecasts, and perform standard and ad-hoc analyses. A strong technical understanding of IFRS 17 and Solvency II and related cash flow modeling, as well as effective stakeholder communication, are essential.
Responsibilities
* Forecast financial performance and support strategy planning across cross-functional teams.
* Design and improve processes for local and central planning exercises.
* Consolidate and analyze forecasts for the operating plan and full-year landing updates.
* Process data into the planning tool and ensure consistency across IFRS, Solvency II and operating cash flow KPI frameworks.
* Analyze plan data against previous plans and actuals; summarize results for senior management and stakeholders.
* Support interpretation of planning data by stakeholders; engage with reserving and finance teams and L&H business units.
Qualifications & Experience
* Several years of experience in actuarial, accounting, reporting, data analysis, or insurance audit.
* Ideally, a qualified (or near-qualified) Actuary with strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and other economic frameworks.
* Experience in Life (Re)Insurance is beneficial and preferred.
* Robust analytical and critical thinking skills with strong problem-solving ability.
* Ability to analyze and synthesize information from different sources to understand the bigger picture; effective communicator with stakeholders.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and, preferably, project management experience.
