Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeDirect message the job poster from Dillon Engineering ServicesThe E&I Construction Lead is a senior member of the Construction Team responsible for overseeing the proper and timely execution of the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) scope within a project. This role ensures compliance with the organisation's safety and quality standards, detailed designs, control estimates, contracts, and standard operating procedures. The E&I Construction Lead coordinates construction activities, monitors progress, and ensures adherence to work instructions and industry standards, ultimately driving the successful and timely turnover of all E&I systems to the client.The ideal candidate needs to have a valid visa/citizenship to work in Ireland/Europe.Must have Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) experience on a Senior / Managerial level.Must have Construction experience and background.Must have experience and background with Pharma Projects.Ideally must live in Dublin or be willing to relocate to Dublin as this role is on-site.Primary Job Duties:Construction Resources Management – Ensure qualified personnel, tools, and resources are available.Subcontract Management – Oversee Safety, Schedule, Cost, and Quality.Site Execution SOPs – Develop best-in-class procedures for Field Supervisors.Cross-Team Engagement – Collaborate with Design, Commissioning, and Client teams to meet milestones.Compliance & Safety – Follow the Organisation’s construction methods, statutory laws, and Health & Safety regulations.Industry Development – Stay updated with construction advancements to enhance the Organisation’s capabilities.Project Execution & Quality – Ensure projects meet drawings, specifications, and standards within budget and schedule.Staff & Contractor Oversight – Direct and assess assigned personnel and contractor performance.Technology & Innovation – Encourage best technology use and document lessons learned.Reporting & Progress Tracking – Review contractor reports and contribute to weekly updates for the Client.End-to-End Construction Management – Oversee projects from pre-construction to system turnover.Training & Development – Identify supervisor training needs and recommend improvements.Labour Relations & Policy Adherence – Ensure compliance with labour agreements and company policies.E&I Staff Management – Supervise construction superintendents, trade supervisors, and subcontractors.Pre-Construction:Review & Liaison: Engage with design and client workgroup leads, conduct model reviews.Constructability Reviews: Prepare and lead assessments to enhance project feasibility.Scope of Work (SOWs): Develop detailed SOWs for trade contract procurement.Bill of Quantities (BOQs): Assist in preparing detailed BOQs.Bid Evaluation: Review E&I bids, prepare TBA (Technical Bid Analysis).Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on construction industry trends and best practices.Execution Strategies: Develop detailed execution strategies for project implementation.Project Documentation: Contribute to CHSP, QA/TO, and other construction requirements.Scheduling: Assist in schedule development, reviews, and lead IAPs (Integrated Activity Plans).Department Development: Improve E&I execution procedures, coordinate with E&I Design leads, and manage E&I construction resources.Qualifications & Requirements:Degree qualified in E&I Engineering or similar.Significant years’ experience in a similar role.Biotech/Pharma project knowledge.Excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeContractJob functionJob functionManagementIndustriesConstructionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Dillon Engineering Services by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Electrical and Instrumentation Manager” roles.Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland 1 week agoDublin, County Dublin, Ireland 4 weeks agoWe’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
