We're Hiring: Retail Sales Assistant
Glynns Home & Hardware are currently looking to hire a Sales Assistant to join our busy team in our Tuam Town Store.
As a Sales Assistant you will work at the till, maintain a clean store and well stocked shelves along with supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations.
We are open to hiring full time or part time employees.
Your Role:
* Operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and handling payments.
* Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and offering assistance with purchases.
* Answering the phones when required.
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
* Adhering to store policies and procedures, including following safety protocols and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
Your Nature:
* A passion for retail and excellent customer service skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A strong aspiration to put in effort and advance to higher positions within the company.
* Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday (we are open to hiring part time or full time employees).
* Previous experience in a sales or retail environment (preferred but not essential).
Please note: This job is not suitable for secondary level students.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €27,378.00-€29,406.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 39 per week
